ISO 21434
ISO/SAE 21434 was jointly developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) over the past few years. The ISO standard covers all software devices within the vehicle and their connections to external systems. Since the existing norms and standards were formulated in an era when vehicles did not heavily rely on software, they do not place much emphasis on the safety of software.
